The Pop & Lock is made of tamper-resistant, armored steel. It mounts in the recess under your plastic tailgate handle, so potential thieves can't pop it out. Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the pop and lock custom lock for your UTV tailgate handle. This is going to allow you to transform your UTV's cargo area into a secure storage compartment. So, when you're out, you can just throw all your gear in the back there, lock it up.If you have to walk away from your UTV, you'll know that it's all secure there, so that it's going to be there when you come back to it. This is a custom fit for your 2013 to 2018 Polaris Ranger 570 and 900.
Keep in mind, this is only going to work with the plastic factory tailgate handle that came with your ranger. It is a very simple design.You're going to get two keys that work with it. And that is going to operate this lever here, so that you can lock it into place and open it when you need it. This does have a nice sturdy black powder coated steel construction. So it's going to be very rugged and last you have a nice long time.
It's going to hold up well for you. Very easy to get it installed.You're not going to have to drill anything. You just kind of wedge it up into place. It does have some adhesive backing on the back there to make sure that it stays in place, but very easy to get installed. They do include instructions to help you with that, but probably only take you a couple of minutes to put this in place.
And then you're ready to start locking up your storage area.This does come with the two keys, the lock mechanism and the installation tape there, and instructions. So, everything that you're going to need to get this installed. And it also comes with a one-year warranty. So, if you we're to have any problems within that first year, you could give us a call. We'd help you out with that.But I don't think there's going to be any problems whatsoever.
